Rarity of a ghost is a system we used to rank ghosts from lowest to highest in terms of how famous they are in history. Legendary is the highest ranked ghost while common is the lowest. The rarity of ghosts is defined by these labels.

A famous and notable ghost in history. They are the highest ranked Ghost and are the most difficult to catch.

An apparition is an appearance of a Ghost in various forms. It could be a young version of the Ghost or an old version of the Ghost or some physical thing that is attributed to the ghost. An apparition always has a message, in the form of a famous quotation of that Ghost.

It’s the act of unveiling a version of the ghost that was hidden. You can only do this when you finish a focus session of 25 – 120 minutes.

Tags are used to label what each focus session is for. For example, if you want to study for an example, you could label your tag as study.

An encyclopedia is our ghost library page that houses all the ghosts we have available in the app. You can search to see if a ghost you are interested in is present in our library. You can view more details about the ghost such as, what packs they are available in so you can make an accurate purchase. You can also check the level of rarity of the ghost to see if they are common, rare, or legendary ghosts. If there is a ghost you want us to introduce to the app, you can send in your suggestions via this page.

This means collecting all existing apparitions of a ghost, including the main ghost itself. You need to run as many focus sessions as you can in order to finally catch the ghost you are looking for.

A focus session is the period for which a focus timer runs. A session is for 25 – 120 minutes. 

A Ghost Pack consists of ghosts of the same category. For example, we could have science packs. This ghost pack will consist of ghost scientists, like Marie Curie, Isaac Newton, etc. 

The universe is a journey you go on if you want to make a game out of the experience. The journey is to find a ghost. There is an invisible tree that you follow, and every choice you make leads you down a path. That path can lead you to your ghost or it might not. If it’s a dead end, you have to start down another path. You will keep exploring different paths on the tree until you catch the rarest ghost in the pack, or the ghost you’re on a quest for.
